Collaborative Project - LIMA GROUP - SAP Business One on Huawei Cloud and CMMS Mendix

On January 6, 2026, LIMA GROUP initiated a strategic digital transformation project in partnership with PT Soltius Indonesia to implement SAP Business One on a cloud-based infrastructure for five of its legal entities, including PT Halmahera Sukses Mineral and PT Mega Haltim Mineral. The project, spanning 120 days, involves the deployment of core ERP modules such as Financial, Sales, Purchase, and Inventory, along with specialized industry add-ons like Nickel Costing and Intercompany management. A standout feature of this implementation is the integration of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) developed using the Mendix low-code platform, which is designed to streamline asset maintenance and operational workflows within the group’s mining and energy operations.

LIMA GROUP is adopting this integrated implementation to treat its digital transformation as a core business improvement initiative rather than a standard IT project. The primary objective is to leverage the SAP Business One system to help the group run its business more effectively through standardized best practices and enhanced data visibility across its diverse companies. By utilizing specialized modules like Nickel Costing and a Mendix-based CMMS, the group aims to address industry-specific complexities while ensuring its infrastructure is scalable and ready to support long-term growth through a modern cloud environment.
