PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk is a major food and beverage company in Indonesia, with its business roots starting in 1979 by Darmo Putro through PT Tudung Putra Jaya (TPJ) in Pati, Central Java. The company officially started as Garudafood in 1990. Over the years, Garudafood has grown significantly, becoming a publicly listed company on the stock exchange in 2018. They are known for producing and selling a wide range of food and drink products under popular brands such as Garuda, Gery, Chocolatos, Leo, Clevo, Prochiz, and TopChiz.

Garudafood's products include various items like biscuits, nuts, chips, candies, milk drinks, cocoa powder, and cheese. The company has also expanded its reach internationally, exporting its products to more than 20 countries, with a special focus on countries in Southeast Asia, China, and India. This shows their strong growth and commitment to innovation in the food and beverage industry.

The objective is to support Garudafood's daily operations and align with the company's Vision and Mission. This implementation also includes several process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

The project's solution approach emphasizes maximizing SAP Best Practices and minimizing non-essential customization to keep solutions simple, avoiding changes to the SAP source code. This strategy is intended to streamline processes, improve accountability, and reduce costs, thereby transforming the company's operational workflow. The initial phase of this SAP Fiori PM project began with a pilot implementation covering one Company Code – Garudafood (GPPJ) – and one Maintenance Planning Plant managing a single location for maintenance operations, with a future rollout planned for other Garudafood plants.
